How Donations Are Used
Before your donations make it to our shelves, there are several steps that take place:
- All donations that come in are weighed and date-checked.
- Donations are then categorized based on the level of salt, sugar and saturated fat (Red-High; Yellow- Medium, Green-Low).
- Our families can shop with a packer and choose the items they/their family will use OR
- Families can pick out the items they would like and we can pack for them, based on their preference.
