SUMMARY:Second Saturday Monthly Food Distribution
DESCRIPTION:Do you need some extra help making ends meet this month?  This monthly food distribution is here to supplement your family’s food needs.  Register for this event and you will be able to stop in between 9:00am and 11:00am Saturday morning and pick up prepacked food*. All are welcome to sign up.  New and existing clients of Solanco Neighborhood Ministries will need to sign The Emergency Food Assistance Program form (TEFAP) at the time of pick up. If you have already signed this form previously\, we will have this on file. Quantities are limited so please register soon. Only clients who register for the event will be allowed to pick up food. \n\n\n\n\n\nThis is a Free event and open to all in the community. \n*Food is unable to be held beyond Saturday morning and will be used to support other programs\, pick-up only on Saturday for registered participants. \nAny questions can be directed to Programs@snministries.org or call 717-786-4308 and ask for Todd.

SUMMARY:View a Train Display in December
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to the “Train Displays in Willow Street” this December 7\,8\,14\,15\,21\,22\,28\,29. Hours are 1pm-4pm. Admission will be by donations of nonperishable food items or cash for the benefit of Solanco Neighborhood Ministries and the Conestoga Area Food Bank.\nThe first display will be at Chris and Justin Trout’s home at 1729 Hans Herr Dr Willow Street PA with parking in their driveway or lawn. They will have 3 layouts including HO Marklin trains and German Buildings\, Lionel Prewar\, American Flyer and Ives Standard gauge plus Lionel Postwar O gauge. They will also have a collection of original Christmas Department Store animated window displays like Watt & Shand used to have years ago.\nThe second display will be presented by Al Strausner\, Matthew Palmeri\, Ben Stiles at West Willow UMC Church at 118 West Willow Rd Willow Street PA with parking in the church parking lot. Handicap accessible by calling 717-917-6922 upon arrival. The layout will have 2 O Gauge trains circling the town of Plasticville and Ben’s Circus. The Plasticville town pieces are vintage 50’s and 60’s buildings from our personal collection and Ben’s circus are a collection of vintage toys\, built kits\, and scratch-built scenes and train cars.\n
