How You Can Help!

Volunteer on-site

To continue to help meet the needs of the community, Solanco Neighborhood Ministries relies not only on donations, but also on volunteers. Volunteers are needed in the food bank, to assist with food drives, and to help with special events. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, even if you only have a few hours to give, we want to hear from you! Stop in and pick up an application so we can learn more about you or send an e-mail to Cindy at volunteer@snministries.org. Depending on the role, some volunteers may need to obtain clearances.

“The Solanco Neighborhood Ministries provide endless opportunities to practice kindness and compassion toward others,” said volunteer Deb Janisak. “The everyday interactions with clients and staff are very rewarding and uplifting. Volunteering within this often critical and much needed outreach has become an unparalleled service commitment for me.”

Individuals 12 years of age and older are invited to join our team of dedicated volunteers and help make a difference in the lives of those around you!
